I’m an author and editor, and the founder of Calm and Confident Parenthood — a collection of books and resources created to support parents through all stages of family life, from that first positive pregnancy test to the toddler years and beyond.
Outside of writing, I’m first and foremost a mom and a wife (and also a daughter and sister). I have two wonderful children — a girl and a boy — born three years apart.
When I was expecting my firstborn eight years ago, I was excited, overwhelmed, and determined to prepare in every possible way. True to my nature, I read, researched, and organized endlessly — but I still wished there was one clear, practical, and reassuring guide to help me focus on what really mattered.
That wish eventually became my book Preparing for Baby — a calm, month-by-month guide to getting ready for your little one’s arrival. It was the idea behind that book that set the wheels in motion for Calm and Confident Parenthood as a wider series and concept.
I love sharing what I’ve learned (and continue to learn!) with other parents, and I hope you’ll find comfort and clarity here too. We’re all in it together on this wonderful rollercoaster called parenthood.
